David Wheeler assumed the role of CFO of Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC in June 2018.
David brings decades of executive and health care experience and Board of Directors work to the CFO role at an exciting time of growth and transformation. Most recently, David was the successful CFO at MedImpact Healthcare Systems from 2002 until December 2015.
Mr. Wheeler provided senior level direction on financial decisions and organizational priorities in an effort to maximize and accelerate the continued financial success of MedImpact. Mr. Wheeler has more than 30 years of financial experience and more than a dozen years of healthcare industry experience. Mr. Wheeler was a founder of Silver Stream Capital, a private equity firm based in San Diego. The firm specialized in startup companies, healthcare IT, and tech-enabled services. This included businesses that deliver software platforms, payment and transaction processing engines, data analytics tools, information services, payers and providers, pharmacy benefit managers, pharmaceutical services, business intelligence, enterprise solutions, and financial services.
Mr. Wheeler is a CPA and founder of Wheeler & Company, CPAs, which is now Wheeler Accountants, LLP (a Certified Public Accounting firm specializing in income taxation, financial management and planning, and strategic business planning). Over the years, Wheeler\'s accounting firm has represented the founders and other senior executives of several successful technology companies. Mr. Wheeler served as Chief Financial Officer at several emerging businesses poised on entering the national marketplace. Additionally, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at various restaurant chains including the national franchise Chuck E. Cheese, and Sculpture Hospitality.
Mr. Wheeler received his Bachelor of Science from California State University, Chico.
