Joel Wright
As President of Pharmacy Services, Joel oversees Maxor’s managed pharmacy, pharmacy technology, and specialty pharmacy services.
Joel has more than 30 years of healthcare experience across retail operations, specialty pharmacy, and home infusion. Prior to joining Maxor, Joel was the CEO of AllianceRx Walgreen Pharmacy, one of the largest specialty and home delivery companies with over 2,500 professionals in locations across the country.
Joel is dedicated to patient care, improving patient outcomes, and optimizing healthcare processes through innovation. He has extensive experience building strategic alliances with pharmaceutical manufacturers, securing access to limited distribution medications, building programs to enhance patient utilization and adherence, and pioneering innovative digital solutions to enrich patient and provider experiences. Prior to AllianceRx, Joel held various executive leadership roles at Walgreens including Divisional Vice President of Walgreens Specialty Solutions Group where he was responsible for the operations of five central specialty and 250 local specialty pharmacies spanning the United States and Puerto Rico.
Joel earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris University and completed the Executive Management Program for Pharmacy leaders at the Wharton School of Business.
